NEEDS ANALYSIS AND USER REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION

Together with the customer, a Conductor Systems application specialist establishes the performance and application requirements and generates a User Requirement Specification (URS) including a basic design which can guide the client through their tender process in selecting their service provider.

The URS may be expanded to include a full solution definition and product specification.

INSTALLATION SUPERVISION AND COMMISSIONING ASSISTANCE

Who better than the designers & manufacturers of technology to oversee the installation and commissioning?

Our specialist will work hand-in-hand with your preferred installer to ensure fast and accurate startup.

REPAIR SERVICE

Our factory trained technicians will efficiently repair and test our products should they become faulty.

CALL-OUT SERVICE

A qualified Conductor Systems technical representative will visit site in order to trouble-shoot and repair breakdowns. We will also gladly assist with identifying performance improvements.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE INSPECTIONS

After defining the appropriate maintenance strategy based on your technology mix and operational requirements, Conductor Systems will take care of the scheduling and dispatching of our maintenance teams to your premises to conduct the defined maintenance inspections and routine actions.

Full reporting which will include recommendations and identified red flags is provided a short while after the conclusion of each visit.

SPARE PARTS SERVICE

While we strive to hold sufficient stock on hand, our stock levels are subject to prior sale which may lead to stock-outs when you need spares the most.

As a result, we offer our customers a guaranteed minimum spares holding to ensure the required part is always available for their exclusive use.

On-site delivery can be guaranteed based on agreed service requirements.

Annual In-situ inspection:

  • Visual inspection
  • Vibration & heat checks
  • Operational testing which covers checking of torque settings and anti-runback
  • Issuing of inspection report

* It is required that the machine is fully functional but not in operation and that a certified operator must be available for the duration of the inspection.

Biennial Scheduled service (every two years)

  • Inspection of outer housing, top plate, shaft and magnet.
  • Replacement of bearings, fasteners and safety guard
  • Powder coating of outer housing
  • Run-in 24 hour bench testing including vibration and temperature rise checks
  • Torque testing
  • Certification

Commissioning assistance

On-site assistance by a factory trained technician to assist with the installation and setting up of our couplers to ensure optimal performance.

* It is required that the machine is fully functional but not in operation and that a certified operator must be available for the duration of the inspection.
** Flat rate includes travel within a radius of 250km from Johannesburg. Additional travel and accommodation to be charged at standard rates.

Trade-in Program

This no-fuss program allows you to trade your old magnetic coupler in on an equivalently sized new coupler and receive an additional 10%. discount off the price of your new coupler.

* This applies to couplers from other manufacturers too!!!!
** Couplers from other manufacturers may require an additional adapter plate and mounting accessories which we provide at no cost to you.
*** Should you trade a coupler from another manufacturer we will provide our installation and commission service at 50% of the standard charge

SLIP-RING ASSEMBLIES

Annual In-situ inspection:

  • Visual inspection
    • Integrity of enclosure, rings, brushes, locking element and terminations
  • Cleaning & sealing of enclosure to correct ingress protection specification
  • Issuing of inspection report

* It is required that the machine is fully functional but not in operation and that a certified operator must be available for the duration of the inspection.

Biennial Scheduled service (every two years)

  • Visual inspection
    • Integrity of enclosure, rings, brushes, locking element and terminations
  • Replacement of brushes
  • Paint touch-up or complete repaint
  • Cleaning & sealing of enclosure to correct ingress protection specification
  • Issuing of inspection report

* Guaranteed 5 working day turnaround
** Service will be done on site unless a complete repaint is to be done
*** For on-site service, it is required that the machine is fully functional but not in operation and that a certified operator must be available for the duration of the inspection.

Commissioning assistance

On-site assistance by a factory trained technician to assist with the installation and setting up of our Slip-ring assemblies to ensure optimal performance.

* It is required that the machine is fully functional but not in operation and that a certified operator must be available for the duration of the inspection.
** Flat rate includes travel within a radius of 250km from Johannesburg. Additional travel and accommodation to be charged at standard rates.
